Following a trip to Laugharne in January of 2015, I felt very inspired to create some music that would blend with the wonderful poetry of Dylan Thomas . I started by listening to a recording of Dylan's iconic 'Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night' and found that his rhythmical delivery sparked an abundance of musical possibilities which came to fruition nine months later when the concept was complete. With a combination of a strong melody and Dylan's beautiful words, I was able to create this haunting soundscape which reflected the message and emotion contained within the poem. I was so inspired by the outcome, I started work on a second poem, 'The Force That Through The Green Fuse... 'Once completed, I contacted the Dylan Thomas Foundation to let them know what I was doing, then Hannah Ellis (Dylan's granddaughter) got in touch and told me how much she enjoyed my contemporary approach to her Grandfather's work. As a result, she kindly gave me the green light to develop the idea further, so it was very encouraging to receive approval and validation from the Thomas family. Nine months later, the project was complete with 18 poems adapted, and preparations were under way for a live presentation of the work.

Following our debut performance at The National Library of Wales in March 2016, we performed many shows across Wales including Theatres, Festivals, Arts Centres and a memorable performance at the Dylan Thomas Boat House ( concert in the garden) to coincide with International Dylan Day. Six months later, we received a personal invitation from Hannah to perform at Westminster Abbey for her Grandfather's memorial service which was a wonderful experience. Apart from domestic interest, we've received invitations to perform in Canada and New York where Dylan's fine legacy still resonates. Unfortunately, due to copyright, our music is not available for purchase at present, however, we are in the process of trying to resolve this issue. In the meantime, please feel free to listen to our musical adaptations on this website ( scroll down) At the moment, we have no shows planned as we're trying to secure funding to create a professional touring production, if that comes to fruition, then we'll let you know.
